    Are you also going to discuss prevention strategies? I agree that genetics play a big role in the development of dementia / Alzheimer’s, but lifestyle choices can also make a big difference. In particular, eating a proper diet throughout one’s 40s, 50s, and 60s can do a great deal to prevent neural degradation. I’ve had great success with my patients when they eliminated grains, dairy, and most sugars. They’ve also been able to avoid addictive painkilling drugs.
